The IEEE CASS Workshop on Electronics for Mitigating Climate Change (EmC2) will be held from 29-30 November 2022 at the World Resort Sentosa in Singapore.

EmC2 will be a place to meet and work in which we want to discuss current and future issues arising from climate change such as the risk of passing a tipping point of planetary boundaries if we don't accelerate the path to reduce GHG emissions among others. Here we will discuss climate change's consequences on people's health, migration, food security, as well as poverty, and finally, define a roadmap of actions that need to be taken by IEEE members and the research community to reduce the impact of global warming.

Rising temperatures over time are changing weather patterns and upsetting the usual balance of nature. This poses many risks to humans and all other forms of life on Earth. Climate change is a global challenge that knows no borders and required the work of all of us.

We have some tools, we have the technology, we can do better, we must.
