As we commemorate IEEE Circuits and Systems Society's 75 years of excellence, we invite you to organize and host events that highlight the achievements, advancements, and impact of circuits and systems technologies. Whether it's a technical workshop, a panel discussion with industry experts, a hackathon focusing on emerging technologies, or any other creative initiative, we encourage you to leverage this occasion to inspire, educate, and collaborate.

By participating in the IEEE CASS 75th Anniversary Celebration, you will not only showcase your chapter's capabilities but also contribute to the success of this landmark event. Your events will be featured as part of the official celebration program, providing visibility and recognition within the IEEE CASS community and beyond.

Global Celebration Chapter Event Contest

The 75th Anniversary Global Celebration Chapter Event Competition will begin with CASS Month, beginning on 5 April 2024 and ending on 10 May 2024. The main celebration will be held on Tuesday, 21 May at ISCAS 2024.

Submit any events featuring the CASS 75th Celebrations that your chapter is hosting between 5 April and 10 May to the 75th Anniversary Global Celebration Chapter Event Contest! 

If you would like your event to be considered for the 75th Anniversary Event contest, you must submit a post-event report by 10 May 2024

  • Global Celebration: 5 April - 10 May (CASS Month)
  • Main Celebration: 21 May at ISCAS 2024 in Singapore (Winners Announced)

We encourage you to submit events for the entire year, however, events held between 5 April and 10 May will be included in the Global Celebration Chapter Event Competition. *Student Branch Chapters are included in this contest.

If you wish to include your event in the contest, you will be asked to submit a video, photos, and post-event report. Please be sure to take photos/videos and feature your CASS 75th Celebration.

You must submit your post-event report by 10 May 2024 to be included in the contest.

If your event falls between 14 April – 20 April 2024, we encourage you to submit it to IEEE Education Week as well.

  • 05 April 2024 - 10 May 2024: Event Submission and Implementation
  • 10 May 2024: Event Reporting Deadline
  • 21 May 2024: Main Celebration at ISCAS 2024 & Contest Winners Announcement

Event Submissions

Event's must be ready to publicize before submitting. Once submitted, your event will appear on the 75th Anniversary Events page.

You must submit your post-event report by 10 May 2024 to be included in the contest.

You will be asked to submit a video, photos, and post-event report. Please be sure to take photos/videos and feature your CASS 75th Celebration.

CASS Trivia Contest

The IEEE CASS Trivia Contest is open to all IEEE members and non-IEEE members and runs from May to December, with monthly winners.

The IEEE CASS Trivia Contest is an educational contest organized in CASS Microlearning (CASS MiLe) intended to spotlight engineering students and young engineers involved in the field of circuits and systems. The IEEE CASS Trivia contest is organized as part of 75 th IEEE CASS Celebrations and would be organized monthly consists of multiple-choice questions covering a variety of topics related to circuits and systems.

Contest Rules and Guidelines

Contest: Monthly (May to December), available throughout the month

Winner Announcement: 10th day of the succeeding month.

Winner Selection:

  • Highest marks
  • Fastest time duration to complete answering

20 Questions/month on CASS MiLe

Trivia is open for everyone - member or non-members of IEEE CASS.
You are encouraged sign-up for free CASS membership to eligible to win the special prizes

Win:

  • Digital badge (80% correct) - Everyone
  • Three (3) monthly Special prize - CASS member only
  • Special prize winner, the organizer will contact by email for the CASS membership confirmation.

The top-ranking participants in each round will be announced in the CASS MiLe leaderboard. All registered participants who complete the contest will receive a certificate of participation.

Main Scope

Participants will answer multiple-choice questions covering selected topics related to circuits and systems.

Contest Rules
1.     The contest will take place online on the CASS MiLe platform only.
2.     Participants will be given 20 questions to answer within a total time limit of 15 minutes.
3.     Participants will not be allowed to reattempt the contest after they have submitted their answers.
4.     The participant's score will be determined based on the number of correct answers they provide within the allotted time.
5.     Any cheating or misconduct will result in disqualification from the contest.
6.     The organizer reserves the right to investigate any suspicious activity and reject any participant failing to meet the rules above.
7.     The organizer’s decisions are final and no correspondence thereon will be entertained.
