2026 President's Message
Dear IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Members and Friends,
Welcome to a New Year! As we embark on 2026, I would like to extend my warmest wishes for a joyful, healthy, and prosperous year ahead for you and your families.
Building on a Year of Growth
We enter this year with a remarkably strong foundation. Over the past year, we have witnessed significant increases in our membership numbers, alongside an expansion of our Chapters and Student Branch Chapters. This growth is matched by the continued excellence of our publications. Our leading journals have achieved top-quartile status, reflecting the high quality and impact of the research produced by our community.
Advancing Technology and Industry Engagement
To remain at the forefront of our field, we continue to adapt to emerging technologies and industrial needs.
- Industry Focus: We are dedicated to promoting our Society within the industry and fostering deeper engagement through new leadership roles designed specifically to bridge the gap between academia and the industrial sector.
- Emerging Technologies: We are meeting the demand for innovation through the establishment of new technical committees, such as the Machine Learning Circuits and Systems (MLCAS) Technical Committee, ensuring we provide dedicated platforms for rapidly evolving fields.
Recognizing Excellence
Our commitment to honoring the achievements of our members remains steadfast. We have refined our governance to ensure that technical contributions to the field of circuits and systems are emphasized and given the weight they deserve.
Welcoming New Leadership
As we begin this new term, I am honored to welcome the incoming Officers and members of the Board of Governors joining us this year. I look forward to working alongside this talented group of volunteers to serve our members. I also wish to express my gratitude to the outgoing leadership team and our dedicated volunteers, whose exceptional performance and diligence have positioned the Society for continued success I look forward to a wonderful year of collaboration and advancement for CASS.
Warmly,
Andy Wu
