The IEEE CAS Society strives to serve our members' different needs and interests. The CASS-Wide Webinar Program delivers high-quality talks on the field of interest of the circuit and systems community.

The aim of the CASS-Wide Webinar Program Speaker solicitation is to:

1. Build a strong, diverse speaker pipeline
2. Strengthen fairness, transparency, and balance in selection
3. Curate compelling, multi-disciplinary webinar content
4. Increase engagement and viewership

Purpose

The aim of the CASS-Wide Webinar Program Speaker solicitation is to:

  1. Build a strong, diverse speaker pipeline
    Establish and maintain a robust pool of prominent speakers representing all regions, academia and industry, and balanced gender representation, with demonstrated ability to deliver engaging, high-quality talks.

  2. Strengthen fairness, transparency, and balance in selection
    Improve the speaker review and selection process to ensure consistent evaluation criteria and intentional outcomes across disciplinary breadth, topic diversity, and representation (region/sector/gender/career stage).

  3. Curate compelling, multi-disciplinary webinar content
    Select talks that reflect CASS-wide priorities and emerging trends, promoting cross-society relevance andmulti-disciplinary perspectives that appeal to a broad audience.

  4. Increase engagement and viewership
    Grow webinar attendance and retention by prioritizing timely, high-interest topics, strong speaker communication skills, and improved promotion—aiming for higher registrations, live attendance, and post-event views.

Rules

  1. Solicit from (eligible nominators):

    • Members of CASS Executive Committee and Board of Governors

    • TC/SiG Chairs

    • Fellow evaluation committees

    • CASS Editors-in-Chief (EiCs)

    • Flagship Conference General Chairs and Technical Program Chairs

  2. Solicitors must confirm the candidate’s willingness/availability before submitting.

  3. Self-nomination is Not Allowed.
