Purpose
The aim of the CASS-Wide Webinar Program Speaker solicitation is to:

Build a strong, diverse speaker pipeline
Establish and maintain a robust pool of prominent speakers representing all regions, academia and industry, and balanced gender representation, with demonstrated ability to deliver engaging, high-quality talks. -
Strengthen fairness, transparency, and balance in selection
Improve the speaker review and selection process to ensure consistent evaluation criteria and intentional outcomes across disciplinary breadth, topic diversity, and representation (region/sector/gender/career stage). -
Curate compelling, multi-disciplinary webinar content
Select talks that reflect CASS-wide priorities and emerging trends, promoting cross-society relevance andmulti-disciplinary perspectives that appeal to a broad audience. -
Increase engagement and viewership
Grow webinar attendance and retention by prioritizing timely, high-interest topics, strong speaker communication skills, and improved promotion—aiming for higher registrations, live attendance, and post-event views.
