The Outstanding Young Author Award honors an especially meritorious paper published in any of the CAS Society’s Transactions whose author at the date of submission is less than 30 years of age. The award is based on general quality, originality, contributions, subject matter and timeliness. Anyone who is an author of papers published in any one of the CAS Society’s Transactions during the three calendar years preceding the award, who at the date of submission of the paper shall be less than thirty is eligible for nomination. Award: The recipient will receive a certificate and a check for $500.00. (There is a maximum of $2,000.00 per award if multiple authors)
