Alejandro Linares-Barranco is full-professor at the department of Architecture and Tech. of Computers and chair of the Neuromorphic Systems group of the Excellence Unit SCORE at the University of Seville. He is member of the Robotics and Computer Technology Lab since 2001. He received the B.S. degree in computer engineering, the M.S. degree in industrial computer science, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Seville, Spain, in 1998, 2002, and 2003, respectively. His research interest includes neuromorphic hw and computing, AI, VLSI digital design, embedded systems and robotics. He served as officer of the Neural Systems and Applications Track from 2010 to 2015; as track chair for ISCAS; as AE for TNNLS and TCAS-II and GE for TCAS-I. He is member of the Sensory Systems TC. He has been visiting scientist or visiting professor at Yale University, University of Zurich / ETHZ, Bielefeld University and Ulster University.
