Alessandro Bertolini received his B.S. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Università di Trento, Trento, Italy, in 2012 and in 2016 the M.S. (summa cum laude) in electronics engineering, from Università degli Studi di Brescia, Brescia, Italy. He conducted his master thesis research project at Columbia University in the City of New York, NY, USA, within the Columbia Integrated Systems Laboratory, working on time-based techniques for the design of analog/mixed-signal ICs with ultra-reduced supply. In 2017, he joined STMicroelectronics in Milan, Italy, in a R&D team where he is currently senior IC design engineer, architecting custom power-management ICs and complex application specific DC-DC converters. His research interests include PLL, clocking techniques, time-based processing circuits and precision analog circuits.
