Andriana S. L. O. Campanharo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biodiversity and Biostatistics at the Institute of Biosciences of São Paulo State University (IBB/UNESP). Her expertise lies in Computational Mathematics and Scientific Computing, with research interests encompassing neuroscience, physiological signal and medical image analysis, complex networks, and computational modeling of biological systems.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from UNESP and master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral degrees in Applied Computing from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). During her doctoral studies, she spent two years at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Northwestern University (USA), under the supervision of Prof. Luís A. N. Amaral.
She currently serves as a Senior Editor of the IEEE Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Circuits and Systems. Her research has received approximately 1,000 citations (h-index: 10), and she has published in leading international journals, including Science, Scientific Reports, and PLoS ONE.
