Dr. Devrim Aksin received his BSEE and MSEE degrees from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) with a specialization in microelectronics in 1996 and 1999, respectively. He gained early career experience in analog design as a design engineer at the ITU ETA ASIC Design Center in Istanbul, Turkey, from 1995 to 2001. Dr. Aksin received his PhD from the University of Texas at Dallas with a specialization in microelectronics in 2006.

From 2003 to 2007, he worked as an analog design engineer at Texas Instruments, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. In 2006, he joined the faculty of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Istanbul Technical University as an assistant professor, where he worked until 2013, serving as the director of the ITU VLSI group and the ITU VLSI Design and Measurement Laboratories. During his tenure, he graduated one PhD and one Master’s student and supervised seven additional graduate students.

Dr. Aksin has been with Analog Devices since 2014. His research interests include high-speed and high-resolution data converters, frequency synthesizers, high-power and high-voltage IC design, device physics, modelling and reliability, and RF amplifiers. Dr. Aksin has 26 patents, 37 peer-reviewed conference and journal papers. He is a senior member of IEEE.
