Filippo Neri (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics in 2011, with a focus on advanced CMOS analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
He is currently Director of IC Design for Power SoC Products at Renesas Electronics, Zürich, Switzerland, where he leads the architecture definition and development of wireless power transmitter and transceiver ICs for mobile and consumer applications. His professional experience includes senior technical and leadership roles at Philips Semiconductors, ST-Ericsson, Samsung Electronics, and u-blox AG, covering power management, wireless power, GNSS receivers, and audio ICs across advanced CMOS and BCD technologies.
Dr. Neri is the author or coauthor of numerous IEEE journal and conference publications, holds several international patents, and has served as Associate Editor and Guest Editor for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems—I. His research interests include power management ICs, wireless power systems, voltage references, oscillators, and mixed-signal integrated circuit design.
