Guilherme Corrêa is a professor at the Technology Development Center (CDTec) of the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), Brazil. He is also a researcher with the Video Technology Research Group (ViTech). With over 15 years of experience in visual signal processing and digital systems design, Prof. Corrêa has authored more than 100 papers. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and is affiliated with the IEEE Signal Processing Society and the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society. His main research interest focuses on low-complexity and energy-efficient video coding, machine learning for multimedia systems, and digital systems design.
