Johann Knechtel is a Research Scientist with the New York University Abu Dhabi, UAE, since 2016. Johann received the Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in 2014, from TU Dresden, Germany. Johann's research interests cover VLSI physical design automation, with focus on emerging technologies and hardware security. Johann has (co-)authored around 70 publications.
