John Yong-In Park is a President and General Manager of Samsung System LSI business. He is a highly motivated and dedicated engineer with over 35 years of experience in system and circuit design. Before being appointed general manager of System LSI Business in 2021, he led diverse R&D and business teams in and out of the company. 

Before Samsung, he was president, Chief Executive Officer, and Board of directors at Dongbu Hitek since 2009. Before joining Dongbu Hitek, he held key technology management positions at Texas Instruments from 1999 to 2007 and as an analog group leader at LG Electronics from 1987 to 1999.

Since joining Samsung Electronics in 2014 as a senior vice president of the next-generation product development team, he has been responsible for the next-generation product development in touch controller IC and wearable bio-processor. In addition, he has led R&D for image sensors and LSI products such as display solutions, power IC, and security solutions from 2015 to 2018.

As an Executive Vice President of the sensor business team since 2019, he led R&D and commercialization of advanced pixel technology and high-resolution sensor, such as the first 108MP (Mega-Pixel) CMOS image sensors. In 2020, he strengthened the business strategy direction of the entire System LSI Business as an Executive Vice President and head of product planning, sales & marketing. By developing diverse, innovative solutions, he drives the growth of Samsung’s System LSI Business.

Currently, he is responsible for driving system LSI innovation and growth. He leads the development of SOC, sensors, data converter, RF, security, display driver IC and power management IC products that have been commercialized and are now widely used in the industry. He has recently led the semiconductor solution for the 4th Industrial Revolution, which is characterized by integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G MODEM, and more into various technologies.

He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Yonsei University in
1987 and 1993.
