Kwen-Siong Chong (S’03-M’09-SM’13) received the B.Eng., M.Phil. And Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2001, 2002, and 2007 respectively.

He is presently a Director of Engineering at Zero Error Systems Pte Ltd, Singapore. His roles involve the development for radiation-hardened solutions for space/satellite applications, covering radiation-hardened integrated circuit design, satellite payload design, and irradiation testing. He was principal investigator (PI), co-PI, and collaborator of several research projects, including the projects supported from National Science Foundation (Singapore), Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (USA), Ministry of Education (Singapore), and Public Sector Research Funding (Singapore). His research interests include space-grade resilient designs, hardware security, asynchronous circuits, low-voltage low power circuits, and signal processing. He has published more than 80 journal and conference papers.

Dr Chong is an part-time instructor for hardware security courses at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He was the Chair of IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) Society, Singapore Chapter, in 2017 and 2018. He served as an organizing committee for several conferences, including the ASP-DAC 2014, DSP-2015, DSP-2018, SOCC2019, ISICAS2021 and AsianHOST 2022. He has been a member of IEEE CAS Society VLSI Systems and Applications Technical Committee since 2009. He is an IEEE senior member, and is an IEEE CASS Hardware Security Standards Committee.
