Nerhun Yildiz had his PhD in 2013 from Yildiz Technical University in Turkey and worked as an assistant professor in the same university briefly until he moved on to the industry in 2016. He worked on image-processing and computer-vision hardware research, development and implementation targeting ASIC and FPGA devices. He held engineering positions in Arm, Intel, and Altera; and the most recently returned Arm as a System Architect.
