Riccardo Giampiccolo received the BSc and MSc degrees in Electronics Engineering and the PhD degree (cum laude) in Information Technology from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2017, 2020, and 2023, respectively. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Politecnico di Milano. His main research interests include audio signal processing, virtual analog modeling, nonlinear systems, and music information retrieval. In 2024, he was a recipient of the Dimitris N. Chorafas Award. In 2025 and 2026, he was a visiting researcher with the National Institute of Informatics, Tokyo, Japan. He is Associate Editor of “Signal, Image and Video Processing” published by Springer. He is co-author of more than 40 publications in international journals and proceedings of international conferences. He is co-author of two patents.
