Dr. Yi (Estelle) Wang received the B.S and M.S degree from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an China in 2000 and 2003, and the Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore 2008. From August 2025, she worked as Global Head of Consulting and Engineering and Head of Product Cybersecurity & Privacy Office (PCSO) Singapore, at AUMOVIO Automotive (Note: previously known as “Continental Automotive Singapore”, Joined Continental from 2016). Dr. Wang is in charge of six locations around the world focusing on product consulting and engineering, and leading four teams at Singapore: the advanced research in security and privacy team,  product governance team, consulting and engineering team, and the product operations team. In addition, she is with deep knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155/R156 based on physically participating in working group meetings. She is an expert with cybersecurity industrial standards, e.g., ISO 2700x and ISO 26262. She is familiar with data protection and privacy regulations: GDPR and Asia regional regulations (Singapore PDPA and Chinese PIPL). Advanced leading research topics are including but not limited to quantum-safe applications, applied lightweight cryptography, embedded security for IoTs, cybersecurity for artificial intelligence (adversarial model), privacy enhancing technology (data anonymous, federated learning) for automotive.

Dr. Wang’s was honored as one of the “Top Women in Security ASEAN” in 2021 and 2022 and received the “Top Women in Security – Singapore Country Award”. With over 20 years of experience in embedded security, she has published more than 60 top international journal and conference papers and holds 17 industrial patents. She also served as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuit and System II (2020-2022), Chair for the IEEE Standard of Hardware Security under the IEEE CASS Standards Activities Subdivision from 2022, and Chair-elect for IEEE CAS SASD 2026-2027. She is also IEEE CAS Industrial Distinguish Lecture 2025-2026.
