Yuqing Ren (Student Member, IEEE) is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in the Telecommunications Circuits Laboratory (TCL) at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. He received the B.S. degree and M.E. degree from Nanjing University and Science and Technology and Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2018 and 2021, respectively. His research interests include error correction coding theory and practice, digital signal processing, beyond 5G and 6G, and VLSI circuits for communications.

He was a recipient of the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Students Abroad in 2024 and also the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) Pre-Doctoral Grant in 2025.
