Description

Organized by Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and technically cooperation with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the 2025 International VLSI Symposium on Technology, Systems and Applications (2025 VLSI TSA) will be held as a four-day event in the Ambassador Hotel, Hsinchu, Taiwan during April 21-24, 2025.

With a history dating back to 1983, the Symposium has solidified its position as the premier event on VLSI in Taiwan and a leading technology symposium worldwide for over four decades.

For maximizing the synergy across two symposia, from 2023 and beyond, the VLSI-TSA and VLSI-DAT symposia had been merged into one Symposium. We are confident the symposium will continue to create new opportunities and more communication platforms either Taiwan’s semiconductor industry or the global semiconductor industry and even academia and Institute.

During 2025 VLSI TSA, experts from industry and academia around the world will share their valuable insights on the latest technologies in the field of VLSI. For the keynote sessions, Prof. Suman Datta from Georgia Tech, Dr. Ken Rim the SVP of Samsung and Dr. Farid Medjdoub from IEMN will deliver the keynote speeches related to “Memory & Computing”, “Leading edge node CMOS scaling” and “Emerging fully vertical GaN power devices suitable for future automotive applications”. Besides, Dr. Shinji Matsuo from NTT and Dr. Raichi Taibi from SOITEC will talk about silicon photonics like heterogeneously integrated III-V devices and Si photonics circuits for short distance optical interconnects. For tutorials, Prof. Frank Kao from NCKU, Dr. P.J. Liao and Dr. Yi-Hung Tsai from TSMC will discuss about advancement on Device Simulation, Modeling and Reliability related topics with the audience.

We look forward to your participation in 2025 VLSI TSA.
