IEEE CASS Seasonal School on AI and IoT Technologies for Smart Agriculture in Uganda

IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CAS) Seasonal School 2026 will expose students, young Ugandan and East African community to a diversity of industry-based knowledge, skills, and understanding regarding IoT and AI technologies and Applications in the field of integrating new technologies, including Internet ofThings (IoT), cloud computing and analytics, and AI and machine learning into their production facilities and throughout their operations. This seasonal school will explore cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence and IoT, emphasizing their application in transforming agriculture. The participants will gain hands-on experience with innovative tools and techniques to address challenges like crop monitoring, precision farming, and resource optimization. Expert-led lectures, interactive workshops, and real-world case studies will provide insights into sustainable agricultural solutions in Uganda. This seasonal school will drive technological, more efficient, and resilient farming solutions.
