Circuit design is not only relevant for electrical engineering. It can also be applied to interdis- ciplinary projects that require electrical input, output, or control, such as robotics, biomedical devices, renewable energy, and smart systems. Through the in- terdisciplinary projects, the designer must understand the project goals and requirements, as well as the roles of other team members. Therefore, communication with collaborators is essential, as is the use of common stan- dards and tools to ensure compatibility. On 16 and 17 October 2025, the IEEE Greece Section CH08276-Circuits and Systems/Solid-State Circuits Joint Chapter, CAS04/SSC37 (https://site.ieee.org/greece- casssc/) implemented the two-day IEEE CASS Seasonal School with theme “Interdisciplinary Applications of Circuits and Systems.” The event has been held at the Conference and Cul- tural Center of the University of Patras (Hall II.8) and it has been also broadcasted through the Zoom applica- tion. The organized Committee was the following: Gen- eral Chair: Prof. Costas Psychalinos, Publication Chairs: Assist. Prof. Thomas Noulis (Aristotle University of Thes- saloniki) & Assist Prof. Georgia Tsirimokou University of Ioannina), and Digital Communication Chair: Prof. Alkis Hatzopoulos (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). The speakers of this educational event, were leading experts from academia and semiconductor industry, related to the topics of the School, some of which are prominent members of the CAS society.
