2023 IEEE CASS Seasonal School on Artificial Intelligence, Integrated Circuits and Systems for medical and surgery technologies

The Seasonal School on AI Integrated Circuits and Systems for Medical and Surgery Technologies aims to offer the students, researchers, practitioners, and experts to share about the state-of-the-art in applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to modern AI integrated chip design and design of automation systems. The program will have invited distinguished speakers from both academia and industries for professional and technical talks. Besides that, a hands-on workshop on deep learning for liver segmentation will be organized under this program.

This seasonal school will highlight on the three pillars which is (1) OpenCV for Image processing, (2) Pattern recognition using Deep Learning and (3) Integrated Artificial Intelligence Analog Circuits Design. These topics will be the main focus and highlight during this seasonal school. Experts, researchers, practitioners and students will be gathered and connected to exchange their knowledge in the highlighted topics.

This seasonal school will be a joint program and co-partnered with industry and academic institutions. The technical sponsorship will be from the KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital which will share the surgical dataset that is used in the hands-on workshop. Another technical sponsorship will be from Universiti Putra Malaysia which will share the training equipment that is used in the hands-on workshop i.e, Graphical Processing Units and computers.
