Description

The Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) and the Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) of the Technical University of Kenya (TUK) propose a collaborative technical workshop in honor of your esteemed society's 75th anniversary.

This one-day workshop, themed "Circuits and Systems: Powering the Future of Intelligent Machines," will celebrate the rich history of IEEE CASS's contributions while providing hands-on learning experiences at the intersection of robotics, automation, and computational intelligence.

The workshop will include:

  • Interactive Lectures: Experts will deliver engaging lectures with a focus on practical applications.
  • Hands-on Tutorials: Participants will gain practical experience through hands-on sessions using relevant tools and technologies.
  • Group Projects: Participants will collaborate on projects that apply the learned concepts to real-world problems in intelligent machines.
  • Panel Discussion: A panel discussion will explore the challenges and opportunities in this field.

The target audience includes students, researchers, and professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in these areas. We propose collaborating with IEEE CASS to identify potential workshop instructors, encourage member participation, and potentially feature a presentation highlighting recent advancements in CASS-related fields.

We believe this workshop will provide a valuable learning experience, foster collaboration, and showcase the importance of circuits and systems in the development of intelligent machines.

A detailed budget will be provided upon confirmation of funding.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

The TUK RAS-CIS Collaborative Workshop Team
