Empowering the Next Generation: Inspiring Change, Breaking Barriers, and Building the Future

On Tuesday, 18 November 2025, a joint Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Circuits and Systems (DEICAS), Women in Circuits and Systems (WiCAS) and Young Professionals in Circuits and Systems (YPCAS) event was held at IEEE ICECS 2025. The event was conducted as a special session during the conference under the thematic “Empowering the Next Generation: Inspiring Change, Breaking Barriers, and Building the Future” and brought together inspiring panelists from academia, industry, and research. The event was organized by Dr. Asmae Chakir (Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences, Morocco), Dr. Zeinab Hijazi (Lebanese International University, Lebanon) and Dr. Hanaa Hachimi (Ibn Tofail University, Morocco).
