Two-Days Workshop on 'Recent Growth & Advancement in Defense Technology

IEEE VSSUT Student Branch, ComSoc Chapter and CASS Chapter in collaboration with IEEE ComSoc and ITR DRDO Chandipur, jointly organized an empowering workshop on "Recent Growth and Advancement in Defence Technology (RGADT 2024)." The workshop was held for two days, on the 10th and 11th of April 2024 with nearly about 200 students participated in this Workshop.

The event, inaugurated by Prof. Banshidhar Majhi then Insights from various topics such as "AI and ML in Defence Services," "RF Communication," and "RF Target Tracking" were shared. Experienced and prominent scientists, including Dr. Pradipta Roy, Dr. A K Ray, and Mr. A K Das delivered their ideas and vision on recent technologies used in the defence system at ITR DRDO Chandipur. Additionally, Dr. Chinmoy Panigrahi , Vice-Chair of IEEE Bhubaneswar Subsection, delivered a talk on "IEEE Membership Drive." lastly prof . Harish Kumar Sahoo delivered vote of thanks and wrapping up two days of learning and networking.
