Dear IEEE JETCAS Readers,
The IEEE Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Circuits and Systems (JETCAS) proudly published its June 2021 issue to demonstrate the latest research progress in the area of hardware security in emerging technologies. This issue features a total of 15 high-quality, novel contributions, touching upon (1) security of machine learning (ML) hardware and ML for hardware security, (2) security of physical unclonable functions (PUFs) as hardware root of trust, (3) side-channel attacks and countermeasures, (4) low-complexity and energy-efficient Implementations of encryption schemes, and (5) security-aware hardware design and verification methodologies. We hope you enjoy the contents of this special issue.
Best Regards,
