The in-person edition of the 4th IEEE CAS Seasonal School on Circuits and Systems for IoT is designed for graduate and doctoral students from the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, data science, and applied mathematics, and who have an interest in the topic of the Internet of Things and its environmental and societal impacts.
Course content covers a wide scope of themes, from radio communications to data processing and artificial intelligence, and their applications in e-health, energy harvesting, intelligent transport systems, and more. Hands-on tutored workshops complement the theoretical sessions, enabling participants to design, create and program a connected object of their choice.
School Venue
The in-person edition of the 4th IEEE CAS Seasonal School on Circuits and Systems for IoT will be held on 19-23 September 2022 in Bordeaux, France at the University of Bordeaux. Virtual participation is possible only for lectures.
School Attendees
This summer school is designed for graduate and doctoral students from the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, data science, and applied mathematics, and who have an interest in the topic of the Internet of Things and its environmental and societal impacts.
School Format
The seasonal school will be held in an in-person format and lectures can be attended virtually. Course content covers a wide scope of themes, from radio communications to data processing and artificial intelligence, and their applications in e-health, energy harvesting, intelligent transport systems and more. Hands-on tutored workshops complement the theoretical sessions, enabling participants to design, create and program a connected object of their choice.
The summer school offers a unique opportunity to develop a strong knowledge of the Internet of things within a program covering the principles of digital radio communications; programming techniques on an Arduino-type microcontroller; LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) communication technologies; 3D printing and laser cutting; big data, learning and deep learning.
Throughout this summer school, renowned and dynamic speakers will share their insight on the latest advances and applications of the Internet of Things technology as a driver for innovative digital infrastructures.

- 0€ IEEE CAS students might be eligible for full scholarships covering the totality of their registration fees based on a profile selection (travel costs are not included).
