Abstract

This talk will review the design and implementation of gigabit wireless communication systems, focusing on radios, antennas, and combined/ integrated design. It will address the issues and challenges of signal propagation, ways to control and manage radiation patterns to maximize the signal to noise (SNR) as well as signal to interference (SIR) ratios. It will cover distributed RF transceivers, enabling software define beam mesh networking. The talk will also address how machine learning and artificial intelligence can be used to optimize the overall gigabit wireless communication for capacity and power consumption. I will also introduce dynamic spectrum licensing base on demand to maximize the efficiency of the network and spectrum.
