The IEEE MTT/AP/EMC/CAS Joint Chapter Islamabad is organizing “Circuits & Systems Design Workshop” on 9 December 2024 which is supported by “2024 CASS Outreach Initiative”.
The workshop aims to provide students and young professionals with hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge in the areas of filter, amplifier, and transceiver design & their characterization. The participants will be engaged in a series of interactive sessions that blend theory with practical applications, allowing them to understand the fundamental principles governing these essential components.

Through hands-on exercises, the attendees will learn how to design microwave systems. Additionally, the workshop will emphasize the importance of design characterization for performance validation. The participants will gain insights into various simulation tools and testing equipment used to evaluate the performance of filters, amplifiers, and transceivers such as Advanced Design System (ADS) software, Spectrum Analyzer and Vector Network Analyzer. By the end of the workshop, attendees will not only have a solid foundation in circuit design but also the confidence to innovate and create sophisticated electronic systems that meet modern communication systems design requirements.
The event will be held at Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), H-12 Campus, Islamabad, Pakistan from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time.
