Call for Second Round of Outreach Proposals
Dear IEEE CAS Society Volunteer,
We are happy to announce the Call for Proposals of the CASS Outreach Initiative 2022!
This is the first call for 2022 and a second call will be announced in May 2022.
You can find more information and an online form for applications on the financial activities page of the CASS website.
All CASS Chapters, Technical Committees, Special Interest Groups, BoG Members (including ExCom), WiCAS Chairs, and YP Chairs can use this opportunity to seek funding to support a broad range of diverse initiatives with high impact. Desired outcomes may include enhancing CASS's technical leadership position, increasing values for our members, increasing diversity, and/or engaging Young Professionals and students.
Please note that CASS is also supporting events through Seasonal Schools, Distinguished Lecturer programs, and other calls which are advertised and announced on our website. Please avoid submitting the same projects to different programs. And if different yet similar projects are submitted, please state so clearly the rationale in the proposal.
Considering the COVID-19 outbreak impact, proposals of virtual (online) events are also accepted as well as traditional in-person events.
Please notice that all initiatives must be held by 31 December 2022 (any awarded funding cannot be transferred to the next year). If the project is funded, the organizer must send the Society an announcement before the event for promotion and a final report after the event to be published on the CASS website.

- Deadline of Proposals: 30 June 2022
- Announcement of Results: by 20 July 2022
- Events: from 1 January to 31 December 2022
