Dear CAS Society Member,

It is with a heavy heart that we share that former IEEE President, Kenneth R. Laker, passed away on 2 August 2023. Professor Ken Laker was an IEEE Life Fellow and a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania for over 30 years. Professor Ken Laker made a significant and long-lasting impact on IEEE.
