Special Issues Call for Proposals for IEEE T-CSVT

Special issues Call for proposals for IEEE Trans. on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology (TCSVT) is now open to all members of the video community. The special issue topics should focus on hot and trending topics in the active areas of video technology.

The deadline for submission to A-EiC will be May 6, 2021. The final ranking, discussion and voting of proposals will be completed by the Editorial Board meeting in ISACAS 2021 on May 23, 2021. It is expected that two special issues will be approved for publication in 2022.

It is advised that the team of Guest Editors not to exceed five people (4 or 5 is encouraged), and including one Associate Editor of TCSVT is encouraged. Balance between academic and industry as well as geographical representations should be considered when forming the guest editor team. Each special issue proposal should have a draft call-for-proposal and should also include the well-thought rationale for the proposed topics as well as the timeline. Biographies of the team members should be included to show their qualifications and relevant experiences. The proposal should also identify the potential source of the submissions and an estimate of the number of submissions.
