Call for Nominations: CASS Flagship Student Travel Grants (Round Five)

The IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) is pleased to announce that nominations are being accepted for the fifth call for the 2026 Flagship Conference Student Travel Support program.

  • The extended submission deadline for Round Five is: 22 July 2026.

  • Grant winners will be notified by 12 August 2026.

Selection Criteria:
  1. CASS Membership: Students must be CASS student members at the time of application and during the conference.

  2. Paper Acceptance: Students must have had their paper accepted for presentation at the conference they plan to attend. The recipient must attend the conference to present the paper.

  3. Student Status: Applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student during the time of the conference.

    1. Note: A faculty member is required to confirm the nominee's undergraduate or graduate student status. This should be uploaded to the Faculty Letter field on the application.

  4. Financial Need: Eligibility will also be based on demonstrated financial needs.

  5. Annual Limit: An individual is only eligible for CASS travel support once per calendar year.

Additional Details: 
  • Registration fees are no longer eligible for reimbursement under travel grants. Eligible reimbursable expenses are limited to travel-related costs, including airfare, accommodations, ground transportation, and other reasonable expenses incurred for conference travel.

  • The final amount awarded will be based on actual expenses, not exceeding the approved limit, and will follow IEEE’s standard travel reimbursement process.

  • Self-nominations are allowed.

  • Nominations will be reviewed confidentially by the Flagship Conference Evaluation Committees and the CASS Operations Office.

  • Late nominations will not be accepted.

    • Each conference will only be listed under one call
