Student Travel Grants for Financially Co-Sponsored Conferences: Round Four Call
The IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) is pleased to announce the fourth call for applications for the 2026 Financially Co-Sponsored (FCS) Conferences Student Travel Support program. This program is intended to provide financial assistance for students traveling to CASS financially co-sponsored conferences in 2026. The primary goal is to help recipients present their accepted research papers at these events.
Important Dates:
- Submission Deadline: 23 July 2026
- Winner Notification: 31 July 2026
The amount of financial assistance provided to each selected student will be given through a reimbursement process. The travel support is limited to 2026 conferences that are financially co-sponsored by the CAS Society.
Selection Criteria:
- CASS Membership: Students must be CASS student members at the time of application and during the conference.
- Paper Acceptance: Students must have had their paper accepted for presentation at the conference they plan to attend. The recipient must attend the conference in-person to present the paper.
- Student Status: Applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student during the time of the conference.
- Note: A faculty member is required to confirm the nominee's undergraduate or graduate student status. This should be uploaded to the Faculty Letter field on the application.
- Financial Need: Eligibility will also be based on demonstrated financial needs.
- Annual Limit: An individual is only eligible for this travel support once per calendar year.
- Registration fees are no longer eligible for reimbursement under travel grants. Eligible reimbursable expenses are limited to travel-related costs, including airfare, accommodations, ground transportation, and other reasonable expenses incurred for conference travel.
The CASS 2026 Financially Co-Sponsored Conferences included in Round Four are:
- IEEE International System-on-Chip Conference (SOCC 2026)
- IFIP/IEEE International Conference on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI-SoC 2026)
