"Memory Solutions for AI Era"
The rapid expansion of artificial‑intelligence (AI) workloads imposes unprecedented requirements on memory subsystems, demanding both higher bandwidth and larger capacity. This webinar surveys the state‑of‑the‑art DRAM technologies - DDR5, LPDDR5, GDDR7, and HBM4 - detailing their architectural innovations, performance characteristics, and suitability for AI‑centric processing.
We further project the evolution paths of these memory families toward next‑generation devices, highlighting expected improvements in data rates, power efficiency, and stacking density. In addition to conventional DRAM, emerging memory‑centric paradigms such as Processing‑in‑Memory (PIM) and the Compute Express Link (CXL) ecosystem are examined as promising solutions to mitigate the memory wall and to enable seamless memory disaggregation. By juxtaposing traditional high‑bandwidth DRAM with emerging PIM and CXL approaches, this webinar provides a comprehensive roadmap for memory system designers to meet the escalating demands of the AI era.
