TCASAI Manuscript Submission Guide

Information for Authors

Potential authors can submit the manuscript to the TCASAI IEEE Author Portal

TCASAI uses the Standard Template of IEEE (Standard_template_example.pdf).  It has been added to the IEEE Template Selector where authors can find templates to create their submissions.

The IEEE will start charging the overlength page fee of $125/page after 11 pages (including references and author biography), up to 14 pages in total (or the allowed maximum extra overlength page number is 3).

New to the IEEE Author Portal? Please see the following steps to submit a manuscript:

  • Go to the TCASAI IEEE Author Portal.
  • You need to register if you are not already registered in the authors’ database. In this case, you will be asked to fill out a form with your name, address, e-mail address, etc. You will also be asked to provide a password.
  • Follow the paper submission instructions on the web-page and submit your manuscript as a single PDF file, as indicated above.
  • An acknowledgement e-mail will automatically be issued upon successful submission.

The IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Artificial Intelligence (TCASAI) publishes contributions related to circuits and systems for artificial intelligence, including circuit and electronic system design, implementation, and demonstration. Review

Submissions to TCASAI that pass prescreening are peer-reviewed in accordance with the requirements set forth in the IEEE PSPB Operations Manual (Section 8.2.1.C and 8.2.2.A). Each published article is reviewed by a minimum of two independent reviewers using a single-blind peer-review process, where the identities of the reviewers are not known tot he authors, but the reviewers know the identities of the authors. Articles will be screened for plagiarism before review and before acceptance.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

  • APC for articles submitted in 2024: $2,495
  • APC for articles submitted in 2025: $2,645
  • APC for articles submitted in 2026: $2,800

The following discounts apply:

  • IEEE Members receive a 5% discount
  • IEEE Society Members receive a 20% discount
  • Discounts cannot be combined
  • Discounts do not apply to undergraduate and graduate students
