2017: CapoCaccia 2017
The Cognitive Neuromorphic Engineering Workshop
Alghero, Sardinia, Italy, April 24 - May 06, 2017.

This is a very unconventional, interdisciplinary, and exciting workshop where we bring together experts in neuroscience, neuromorphic engineering, cognitive sciences and robotics to discuss about the open problems in these fields and attempt to find routes to their resolution with practical hands-on hacking afternoon, evening, and night sessions, in a beautiful setting on the Mediterranean sea.

We take as our foundation participants members of a group of already related EU groups that are involved in presently funded projects, a number of persons who have been involved in the Telluride Neuromorphic Engineering Workshop, and additional colleagues and collaborators from around the world.

The workshop has open and highly interactive discussion sessions in the morning; hands-on projects, tutorial, and hardware and software jamming sessions in the afternoons; and free-form discussions in the evenings. The workshop is open to everybody, but since resources are limited, we will accept only a limited number of registrations, on a first-come first-serve basis.

2011: International Workshop on Complex Systems and Networks 2011
Melbourne, Australia,   September 17-19, 2011.

The IWCSN11 will be the 8th International Workshop in the successful series of events organized consecutively in Bologna (2004), Hong Kong (2005), Vancouver (2006), Guilin (2007), Canberra (2008), Bristol (2009), and Beijing (2010). This year, the IWCSN11 will be officially organized by the Platform Technologies Research Institute and School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

2011: The 8th International Symposium on Neural Networks
Guilin, CHINA,  May 27-30, 2007.

The 8th International Symposium on Neural Networks (ISNN 2011) will be held in Guilin, China, as a sequel of ISNN 2004¨C2010. Guilin has a long history as the most beautiful place in China. It is famous for its wonderful scenery, rivers and karst peaks covered in lush greenery. ISNN 2011 aims to provide a high-level international forum for scientists, engineers, and educators to present the state of the art of neural network research and applications in diverse fields. The symposium will feature plenary lectures given by world renowned scholars, regular sessions with broad coverage, and some special sessions focusing on popular topics. All papers accepted by and presented at ISNN2011 will be published by Springer as multiple volumes of Lecture Notes in Computer Science which will be indexed by EI and ISTP. Selected papers will be published in special issues of several SCI journals.
