To recognize the CAS Society Student Branch Chapter with the best yearly activities.

Prize

$1,000 and Plaque. Presented to the chapter chair and must be used to fund chapter activities.

Funded by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society.

Presentation

Annually at the IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS). Presented in the name of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS).

Basis for Judging

The awards criteria include: number and quality of student branch chapter activities, percentage of attending sponsored events, membership development activities and chapter growth, local conferences/symposia/workshops, participation and collaboration with local chapters, involvement of students and YP members, and timeliness of reporting. The overall local environment and factors such as chapter size are considered.

Eligibility

CAS Society Student Branch Chapters are eligible. Previous winners of are not eligible for the same award within 3 years from the receiving the last award. Eligibility and Selection process shall comply with procedures and regulation established in IEEE and Society/Council governing documents, particularly with IEEE Policy 4.4 on Awards Limitations. Previous award winners are not eligible for substantially the same achievements (per IEEE Policies 4.4: An individual shall receive only one award for a given achievement, unless the significance merits a higher award, which may be given in the following year or thereafter.)  
 

Nomination Details

Previous winners of are not eligible for the same award within 3 years from the receiving the last award.
