Jahnavi Sharma received the dual bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from IIT Madras, Chennai, India, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Columbia University, New York, USA respectively. She is currently a Senior Staff Photonics Researcher with Intel Corporation. Her interests include developing integrated circuit solutions for emerging wireline and wireless applications, pushing performance through both system- and block-level innovations. This encompasses specific interests in light-based signaling and mixed-signal circuit techniques. She has served on the program committee of the International Microwave Symposium, and is currently associate editor of IEEE Circuits and Systems Magazine. She was a recipient of the 2015 IBM Ph.D. fellowship and the 2024 IEEE Journal of Solid State Circuits best paper award.
