Zhizheng Zhang is the Co-founder and Head of Large Model Department at Beijing Galbot Co.,Ltd. He received his Ph.D. degree from University of Science and Technology of China in 2021. He won the USTC Best Ph.D Thesis Award and the Outstanding Graduate of Anhui Province in 2021. From 2019 to 2020, he was a visiting scholar at Columbia University, working with Prof. Shih-Fu Chang. He joined Microsoft Research in June 2021 and previously served as a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research Asia. His research interests include embodied AI, image and video compression, and reinforcement learning.
