2nd Edition: IEEE Workshop on Electronics for Mitigating Climate Change (EmC2) 2023

27-28 November 2023
Four Points by Sheraton Oran - Algeria

Rising temperatures over time are changing weather patterns and upsetting the usual balance of nature. On the current trajectory, climate change will become the defining narrative of human health. Moreover, the people least responsible for climate change are most exposed to its impacts.

Climate change is a global challenge that knows no borders and requires the work of all of us.

Similar to the previous workshop, this 2nd edition will be a place to meet and work in which we want to continue the discussion of current and future issues arising by climate change such as the risk of passing a tipping point of planetary boundaries if we don’t accelerate the path to reduce GHG emissions among others. Here we want also to discuss climate change consequences on people’s health, migration, food security, as well as poverty and finally to define a roadmap of actions that need to be taken by CASS members, IEEE, and all the research community to reduce the impact of the global warming.

This Call for Participants is an invitation for academics, researchers, engineers, and industrial participants, to share their research findings with global experts.
