BioCAS - Become a Member
Membership of the BIOCASTC is open to any IEEE member. A nomination for membership by an active member including a CV of the candidate is required and shall either be circulated before a general meeting or announced at a general meeting. The applicants shall either be present at the meeting and present themselves or shall have a verifiable track record of significant and recent activity in the field of BIOCAS. Membership is approved by a majority of active members present at the Committee’s general meetings if the nomination has been announced beforehand, or by e-mail vote following within a month of the meeting if the nomination is announced at the meeting.

- Website: Activities of the BIOCAS TC are summarized in annual reports that are posted here.
Also, activities of the TC’s flagship conference Biomedical Circuits and Systems Conference are available on the conference website. The 2015 website address is: http://biocas2015.org/.
The journal activities of the TC namely of the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems (TBIOCAS) can be found here. - Conferences: Members of the BIOCAS TC are actively involved in its flagship conference, Biomedical Circuits and Systems (BIOCAS) Conference and also International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS). This conferences are attended by the broad CAS and the IEEE community and is also open to both members from industry and academia.
- Journals: The journal IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems (TBIOCAS) is a flagship journal of the BIOCASTC. The journal receives manuscripts from the BIOCAS community but is also open to the IEEE and scientific community at large.
- Direct outreach: Distinguished Lecture series, seminars and talks, educational and research outreach activities by the members of the BIOCAS TC, and direct interaction with scientific commuity has been key to invite new members to join the TC and become an active member of the BIOCAS community.
