VSPC Rising Star Program

The Visual Signal Processing and Communications (VSPC) Rising Star Program, established in 2023 by the IEEE CAS Society VSPC Technical Committee, annually recognizes experts under 40 for their accomplishments and vision in visual signal processing and communications. Selected candidates are invited to present a 30-minute Rising Star talk at the IEEE VCIP conference, with waived registration fees. From these candidates, one winner (or two in exceptional cases) is chosen based on their achievements, impact, and contributions to the field. The program follows a structured nomination, selection, and evaluation process, culminating in the award presentation at the VCIP Awards Ceremony.
