Prof. Harikrishnan Ramiah, IEEE Senior Member, is a leading figure in electronic engineering. With a background in IC design from Universiti Sains Malaysia, he had driven innovation based technology at Intel Technology in the year of 2002 before becoming elected as a Professor at the Universiti Malaya. As director of Center for Research in Industry 4.0 (CRI 4.0) and the Head of Analog, Digital and RF Research Group, he's reshaping engineering's future. Prof. Ramiah's research areas, including RF Integrated Circuit Design (RFIC), Analog-integrated Circuit Design, and Radio Frequency Energy Harvesting Power Management Module Design, have garnered international recognitions through various technical publications and reputable collaborative research grants.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Prof. Ramiah is a member of the Institute of Electronics, Information, and Communication Engineers, a Chartered Engineer of the Institute of Electrical Technology and a revered Professional Engineer registered under the esteemed Board of Engineers Malaysia, underscoring his unwavering commitment to engineering excellence and professional integrity. He received the Intel Fellowship Grant Award from 2000 to 2008 and secured continuous international research funding, including the Motorola Foundation Grant, OSRAM and WESTERN DIGITAL Industrial Collaboration Grants, from 2014 to 2024, in recognition of his scholarly contributions. His work exemplifies excellence and inspires others to push boundaries in technology.
